The Dominique Colonna Hotel, a unique experience.

The Dominique Colonna, nestles in the Restonica Valley, classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty, (Grand site de France.)  The hotel is situated on the banks of a river. It is in the prettiest of settings, surrounded by trees and mountains. It is only a short walk into the town, Corte, the island’s historical capital.

Nataly Colonna, has recently re-designed and refurbished the hotel. She has collaborated with some of the island’s finest craftsman,  giving great attention to detail,  creating a haven of peace, for each of you to enjoy in your own way.  The 27 bedrooms and 2 suites, each have a style of their own.
There has been great care taken in the choice of natural materials, wooden headboards, stone floors, crisp linen and soft cotton bedding to envelop you. Combining comfort, modernity, serenity and intimacy, everything has been thought about to make you feel at home, as opposed to, in a hotel.  
The undeniable charm of the Dominique Colonna is closely linked with the wild, sumptuous beauty of the Restonica valley and its river.
If you are a nature lover and outdoor enthusiast, you will be in your element here.  You may choose to hike in the rugged mountains with their high airy summits, or try one of the nearby climbing walls. There are also some beautiful walks through scented pine tree forests.  You can swim in the invigorating clear waters of the Restonica river, with its natural rock pools and granite pebbles.  Alternatively, there is the warmer option of the hotel’s large private swimming pool, heated at 29°C.
A stone’s throw from the hotel, you will find the ‘Auberge de la Restonica.’  The Inn has been looked after by successive generations of the Colonna family.  At present, it is Rachel and Emilie, the grand children of the famous footballer, who will welcome you in, to sample some of the traditional Corsican dishes, such as, roast lamb, l’agneau de lait roti.
